       Room 10 did a survey showing how many students love learning. At the end we all had to vote which one they would do the whole day most voted for P.E which I would have agreed with.

Some of the learning subjects we voted for was Maths, Writing, Inquiry, Science, Home learning , Music and P.E

Reflection On Term 4 Goals

Reading- I achieved my Reading goals
Writing- I achieved my Writing goals
Maths- I didn't achieve my Math goal
Because I have not been practicing at all the time.

Term 3 Goals

I did achieve my reading goal because I always read my book without being talked to by other who I work with during reading.

I did achieve my writing goals because I always work out in my head how im going to be specific when I ask questions and including answers.

I did achieve my 6 and 8 times tables because after school my mum always test me on my times tables I need to work on.

Matariki Facts!!

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog post on matariki. There are plenty of facts about matariki that I have written in my writing so hope you all learn something from this. 

The Message In The Bottle

(Introduction) One sunny day I woke up in the morning and got ready to go to the beach on my bike Once I finished I went out side and went to the beach on my bike when I got there I hoped off and went and had a lovely swim. The pool was so cold that I hopped out and went to the changing room to change.


(Problem) A few minutes later when I finished I came out and went and lay on the sand. While I was enjoying the nice warm sun out of no where this glass bottle hit my foot then I got up to see what that was and it was a bottle with this little note in it I didn't know if I should grab it out or should I leave it in the bottle.


 I opened the bottle to grab out the note and saw it said to me from my parents I was so relieved because they were lost on a ship and I haven't heard them in years but I felt happy to see what it said then suddenly it was windy and the paper flew away.


(Solution) I was so mad because I really wanted to see what it said so I went home and went straight to sleep I seeped almost like 2 and a half days then apparently my phone rang and I woke up I cheeked my phone and it was just an alarm. I went on my bike and was having a little ride then apparently a paper landed on my bike. I was so surprised so I opened it and I finally saw the message that said Dear Faye from your parents we are still alive but live on another world we love you and always hope you get the message.



(Conclusion) At the ending after 2 years I was 32 and lived in my house alone I was so happy to hear that my parents are happy and keep sending bottles with notes in side to each other so we can always hear from each other. 

Term 2 Goals

My Exciting Holiday

On the 28th of April Saturday my Mum, Sister, Dad and I went rock climbing. Because it was so boring at home and there was nothing to do at home. At the rock climbing my Sister and I went to the kids area.

When my sister and I walked through the kids area we were so shocked that we couldn't wait until we started because we were so excited. The first thing we had to do before we started is putting on our suits because the suits have to connect to the rope for safety.


My sister and I first went climbing on the book shelf and that was extremely fun it actually  looked like a real shelf just a bigger size.

 Because we had challenges on some of the ones we climbed on and somethings we did didn't even involve climbing even though it was called rock climbing. some were jumping on bouncy castles, paint ball.


Finally we have come to an ending rock climbing was extremely fun and exciting because some of the fun activity's I tried was for the first time and was really fun.

  

Reflection on term 1 goals

ReadingMy goal for reading is to improve on how to use more expression so people know how the character is feeling.Achieved - because I went home and practised with my mum.

WritingMy goal for writing is to be specific by asking and answering specific questions.Almost - I could not work on it.

Maths My goals for maths is learning my 8 and 6 time table off by heart. Not Achieved - because I didn't learn it.

I learned that when you give someone
an instruction you have to make sure that
it is short and clear.
